Deforestation

This week for Reading we have been learning all about Deforestation. We have been focusing on our fluency when Reading out loud by identifying punctuation. We have also been focusing on identifying key facts and using these in our follow up/create activities.

Deforestation is when a big lot of trees gets taken down and seeds don't get planted.
Did you know that Deforestation has taken Thousands of animal lives and habitats.

I hope you enjoy my fact card. If you think there is anything more I could add tell me in the comments and you can also tell me what you know about Deforestation.

  1. Kia ora James,
This is a great piece of writing, I like the pictures you have used and the title is very eye catching. I recycle at home so hopefully this is helping! I will keep doing it and encourage others to recycle too! Well done
