  1. Kia ora James, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
You have done an amazing job creating these similes for the Summer Learning Journey teaser week!
I really liked how you used ‘as adventurous as a mouse’ as one of your similes. It makes me think of the movie ‘Stuart Little’, which is about a small mouse who joins a family and goes on lots of crazy adventures!
‘As fast as Marlin’ is not a simile I have ever heard before, but it definitely sounds super exciting. Who are you referring to when you mention Marlin? It would be awesome for you to reply to this comment and let me know.

  2. Hello I am Lexie from Marshland school. I love how you are so creative with your words and how you describe them Eg As fast as a mariln.
Maybe you could work on you capital letters and not use the same starters. Maybe like it is, nothing is and wow this is.
I thought it was so cool you use funky words instead of boring words.

  3. Hi, James I am Zac from marshland school, Did you know that a marlin can swim up to 68 mph! So pretty fast, I liked what you did in your learning. Maybe next time you could tell us what your learning is about a title and introduction would be really cool. Overall I liked your similies.
